Project Description
For this analysis, the global FEM model of an offshore vessel has been considered.
During this project, the client’s wish was that their vessel will lay on the seabed when in harbor.
The reason for that is that there are some particular ports worldwide where the low tide effect is noted.
Due to the low tide effect, the strength of the bottom of the vessel was necessary to be evaluated.
